REPORT: DANIEL ZELLHUBER FACES FRANCISCO PRADO AT UFC FIGHT NIGHT MEXICO CITY

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Mexico City according to MMA Fighting as Daniel Zellhuber faces Francisco Prado.

Zellhuber (14-1-0) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Lando Vannata and Christos Giagos. Zellhuber competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Lucas Almeida by unanimous decision during the 2021 season. Zellhuber has picked up 14 wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them have come by way of KO/TKO.

Prado (12-1-0) has won one of two in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Ottman Azaitar at UFC On ESPN 49. Prado has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Jamie Mullarkey at UFC 284. Prado has competed 13 times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those encounters went the distance.

UFC Fight Night Mexico City takes place on Saturday, February 24 from the Mexico City Arena in Mexico City, Mexico with Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
