A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Saudi Arabia according to Marcel Dorff as Vinicius Oliveira faces Yanis Ghemmouri.
Oliveira (19-3-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does do on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Oliveira did compete on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Victor Madrigal by first round knockout during the 2023 season. Oliveira has earned 19 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 15 of those came by way of KO/TKO.
Ghemmouri (12-2-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to William Gomis at UFC Fight Night 226. Ghemmouri had a three fight run in the Brave CF promotion, winning two of those three fights by KO/TKO. Ghemmouri has competed 14 times as a professional MMA fighter and just five of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night Saudi Arabia is set for Saturday, March 2 from the Boulevard Hall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
