A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Saudi Arabia according to gaziev’s manager (via Marcel Dorff) as #12 Jairzinho Rozenstruik faces Shamil Gaziev.
Rozenstruik (13-5-0) has won just two of his last six in the UFC, with those wins coming over Augusto Sakai and Chris Daukaus. Rozenstruik hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with his last win coming at UFC 282 in December of 2022. Rozenstruik has earned 13 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 12 of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Gaziev (12-0-0) has already picked up one win under the UFC banner and that came over Martin Buday at UFC 296. Gaziev also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Greg Velasco by first round submission during the 2023 season. Gaziev has competed 12 times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night Saudi Arabia is set for Saturday, March 2 from the Boulevard Hall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
