A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Atlantic City according to the Iridium Sports Agency as Chidi Njokuani faces Rhys Mckee.
Njokuani (22-10-0-1NC) enters the contest on a three fight losing streak, having dropped bouts to Gregory Rodrigues, Albert Duraev and Michal Oleksiejczuk. Njokuani hasn’t won a bout in over a year, with his last win coming at UFC Fight Night 206 in May of 2022. Njokuani has earned 22 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 14 of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
McKee (13-5-1) has gone winless during his two separate runs in the UFC, dropping fights to Khamzat Chimaev, Alex Morono and Ange Loosa. McKee is a former Cage Warriors Welterweight Champion, defeating Jim Wallhead to win the gold at Cage Warriors 153. McKee has competed 19 times as a professional MMA fighter and just four of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night Atlantic City is scheduled for Saturday, March 30 from the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
