A lightweight division attraction has been added to the March 16 UFC Fight Night card according to Marcel Dorff as Thiago Moises faces Brad Riddell.
Moises (17-7-0) has won two of his last five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Christos Giagos and Melquizael Costa. Moises hasn’t picked up a victory in just over a year, with his last win coming at UFC 283 in January of 2023. Moises has suffered seven losses as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came against past/current UFC fighters.
Riddell (10-4-0) enters the contest riding a three fight losing streak, dropping fights to Rafael Fiziev, Jalin Turner and Renato Carneiro. Riddell hasn’t picked up a victory in over two years, with his last win coming at UFC 263 in June of 2021. Riddell has earned 10 wins as a pro fighter, with five coming by KO/TKO and the other five coming by decision.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, March 16 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
