A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night 235 according to ESPN Fightcenter (via Marcel Dorff) as Randy Brown faces Muslim Salikhov.
Brown (17-5-0) has won five of his last six in the UFC, with notable wins coming over Alex Oliveira, Jared Gooden, Francisco Trinaldo and Wellington Turman. Brown has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came during his UFC tenure. Brown has competed 22 times as a professional MMA fighter and just seven of those bouts went the distance.
Salikhov (19-4-0) has won just one of his last three in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Andre Fialho at UFC Fight Night 215. Salikhov hasn’t won a fight in over a year, as the aforementioned victory over Fialho came in November of 2022. Salikhov has earned 19 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 13 of those wins came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night 235 is set for Saturday, February 3 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Roman Dolidze and Nassaurdine Imavov headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
