A featherweight division attraction has been added to the April 6 UFC Fight Night card according to Marcel Dorff as Alexander Hernandez faces Damon Jackson.
Hernandez (14-7-0) has won two of his last six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Mike Breedan and Jim Miller. Hernandez has started a winning streak in over a decade and his last such streak lasted for eight fights in total. Hernandez hasn’t won a bout in nearly a year, with his last win coming at UFC Fight Night 213 in February of 2023.
Jackson (22-6-1-1NC) enters the contest on a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Dan Ige and Billy Quarantillo. Jackson last won a bout at UFC Fight Night 210 in September of 2022, defeating Pat Sabatini by first round TKO. Jackson has earned 22 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 15 of them have come by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs. Allen is set for Saturday, April 6 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Marvin Vettori and Brendan Allen headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
