A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Atlantic City according to Marcel Dorff as Julio Arce faces Herbert Burns.
Arce (18-6-0) has won just one of his last three in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Daniel Santos at UFC 273 in April of 2022. Arce is competing for the first time in over a year, as his last bout came at UFC 281 in November of 2022. Arce has earned 18 wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of those wins came by way of decision.
Burns (11-4-0) enters the contest on a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Daniel Pineda and Bill Algeo. Burns is also competing for the first time in over a year, as his last fight happened at UFC On ABC 3 in July of 2022. Burns hasn’t won a fight in over three years, with his last victory coming at UFC 250 in June of 2020.
UFC Fight Night Atlantic City is scheduled for Saturday, March 30 from the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
