A lightweight division attraction has been added to the March 23 UFC Fight Night card according to MMA Fighting as Kurt Holobaugh faces Trey Ogden.
Holobaugh (20-7-0-1NC) enters the contest on a three fight winning streak, defeating the trio of Joziro Boye, Jose Luis Verdugo and Austin Hubbard. Holobaugh was the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 31, defeating the aforementioned Hubbard in the finals of the reality show. Holobaugh has had three separate stints in the UFC and thus far, has an overall record of 1-4-0 in the promotion.
Ogden (16-6-0) has won just one of his last four in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Daniel Zellhuber at UFC Fight Night 210. Ogden hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, as the win at UFC Fight Night 210 came in November of 2022. Ogden has earned 16 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 11 of those have come by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, March 23 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
