A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to the April 6 UFC Fight Night card according to Laerte Viana (via MMA Orbit) as #12 Norma Dumont faces Germaine De Randamie.
Dumont (10-2-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, defeating Danyelle Wolf, Karol Rosa and Chelsea Chandler. Dumont hasn’t been defeated in almost two years, with her last loss coming to Macy Chiasson at UFC 274 in May of 2022. Dumont has competed at both bantamweight and featherweight in the UFC, earning a record of 6-2-0 in the UFC.
De Randamie (10-4-0) is competing for the first time in over three years, with her last bout coming at UFC On ESPN 16 in October of 2020. De Randamie has also competed at bantamweight and featherweight in the UFC, picking up a record of 7-2-0 in the promotion. De Randamie is a former UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion, defeating Holly Holm to win the gold at UFC 208.
UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs. Allen is set for Saturday, April 6 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Marvin Vettori and Brendan Allen headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
