A welterweight division attraction has been announced for the main event of UFC Fight Night Atlantic City by UFC CEO Dana White as #7 Sean Brady faces #9 Vicente Luque.
Brady (15-1-0) is headlining his first ever UFC card, despite having been with the promotion for over four years. Brady has won six of seven in the UFC, with notable wins coming over Court McGee, Jake Matthews, Michael Chiesa and Kelvin Gastelum. Brady has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Belal Muhammad at UFC 280.
Luque (22-9-1) has won just one of his last three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC On ESPN 51. Luque has previously headlined two UFC cards and he holds a 1-1-0 record in those previous appearances. Luque has earned 22 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 11 of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night Atlantic City takes place on Saturday, March 30 from the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey with Sean Brady and Vicente Luque headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
