BYB Extreme Bare Knuckle Fighting Series Enlists Services of Veteran Media and Entertainment Executives John Bryan and David Armour

Bryan, a pioneering leader with expertise in media distribution and multicast network platforms with more than 20 years working at MGM, Disney and Warner Brothers-branded companies, and Armour, an Emmy Award-winning creative executive with a proven track record in content creation, operations, analytics, and revenue generation, will spearhead BYB’s global broadcast and distribution efforts in 2024.

MIAMI, FL –  On the heels of its first show of 2024, BYB 23 Brawl in the Pines II this past Thursday in South Florida, BYB Extreme Bare Knuckle Fighting Series CEO Gregory Bloom announced today the addition of John Bryan and David Armour to lead and develop global, mainstream broadcast partnerships for the pioneering combat sports company.

Said Bloom, “After a wildly successful 2023, BYB is again uniquely positioned to lead in the accelerated growth and worldwide acceptance of bare knuckle fighting.  We have the best broadcast team in combat sports with Mike Goldberg, Paulie Malignaggi, Claudia Trejos and Benny Ricardo, as well as international ring announcer Kody “Big Mo” Moemarts, and a product packaged and ready for the masses.  There is no one more qualified to help us write this next chapter than John and David.”

“While media consumption continues to evolve, live sports remains the pinnacle of must-watch viewing,” said Bryan.  “After seeing the intensity and excitement BYB has produced consistently over the years -  and the team they have assembled both inside the Trigon as well behind the scenes - I’m convinced that it’s the best kept secret in sports and undoubtedly the future of combat sports.”

Added Armour, “The content possibilities extend far beyond what you see in the Trigon. The personalities and the story-telling opportunities are endless, unique and captivating, perfectly complementing the equally raw and emotional action fans see between the ropes.”

Originating in South Florida with backyard legend Dada 5000, whose backyard fights gained worldwide popularity online, BYB was founded to harness the excitement of bare knuckle fighting into a more structured product for a wider, more mainstream audience. Since 2015, BYB has worked diligently to grow the reach of bare knuckle on both a domestic and international level, hosting events in Colorado, Wyoming, Mississippi, Florida, South Carolina, London, and Dubai, and is continuing to work with athletic commissions throughout the United States and globally to expand the fanbase growing sport of bare knuckle fighting.
