A featherweight division affair is slated for UFC 300 according to the UFC as #12 Sodiq Yusuff faces Diego Lopes.

Yusuff (13-3-0) has won two of his last four in the UFC, with those wins coming over the duo of Alex Caceres and Don Shainis. Yusuff hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with his last win coming at UFC Fight Night 211 in October of 2022. Yusuff has previously headlined a UFC card, which was a unanimous decision loss to Edson Barboza at UFC Fight Night 230.

Lopes (23-6-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating Gavin Tucker and Pat Sabatini. Lopes hasn’t been neaten in nearly a year, with his last loss coming to Movsar Evloev at UFC 288 in May of 2023. Lopeshas earned 23 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 12 of them have come by way of submission.

UFC 300 takes place on Saturday, April 13 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
