A lightweight division attraction has been added to the April 6 UFC card according to Peek himself as Trevor Peek faces Charlie Campbell.
Peek (9-1-0-1NC) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Erick Gonzalez and Mohammad Yahya. Peek has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Jose Mariscal at UFC On ABC 5 in June of 2023. Peek competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Malik Lewis by second round TKO during the 2022 season.
Campbell (8-2-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Josh Streacker and Alex Reyes. Canmpbell previously competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, losing to Chris Duncan by first round knockout during the 2022 season. Campbell also competed twice before in Bellator, defeating Nainoa Dung and Nick Giuletti.
UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs. Allen is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 from a location to be announced with Marvin Vettori and Brendan Allen headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
