Kid Lykos to Face Spike Trivet in Steel Cage Showdown for PROGRESS Men's World Championship at Chapter 163: Twisted Metal

London, 30th January - The stakes are higher than ever as the relentless feud between Kid Lykos and Spike Trivet escalates to a climactic showdown inside a steel cage for the PROGRESS Men's World Championship.

Following his triumph in the Thunderbastard match at Chapter 162, Kid Lykos wasted no time in seizing his destiny, challenging Spike Trivet to a championship bout at Chapter 163: Twisted Metal, slated for Sunday, February 25th at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, London.

The suspension of Spike Trivet after his physical altercation with co-owner Lee Mcateer at the previous chapter was lifted by Kid Lykos after he issued a bold challenge to Trivet and the champion, unrelenting in his quest for dominance, launched a vicious assault on the Thunderbastard winner, demanding a match be held on his terms.

Those terms are a cage match, which he previously beat Cara Noir in and his former rival has not been seen again in the company such are the severity of injuries he received.

Lee McAteer, co-owner, noted, “We did not tolerate Trivet’s appalling behaviour at our previous show, and hence the suspension. I wanted this to be indefinite but Lykos appealed to me, and Trivet agreed to take on this challenge.

“All, I’d say to one of them is “Be careful what you wish for”

With an unwavering resolve, Kid Lykos, battered but undeterred, defiantly rose to the occasion, proclaiming to Trivet, "You can try and take everything from me, but I am still standing."

For months, Kid Lykos has endured the trials and tribulations of a bitter rivalry, enduring losses, identity crises, and the literal unmasking of his persona.

Yet, amidst the turmoil, the unwavering support of the fans has served as a beacon of hope for the valiant challenger in his quest to end the horror of Spike Trivet's reign as PROGRESS Men's World Champion "For everyone"

Now, as the date for Chapter 163: Twisted Metal approaches, the question on everyone's mind looms large: Will Kid Lykos finally pen the final chapter in this gripping saga by vanquishing Spike Trivet in a steel cage match and capture the PROGRESS Men's World Championship?

Join us on Sunday, February 25th, as PROGRESS Wrestling presents a night of electrifying action, intense rivalries, and unbridled determination at Chapter 163: Twisted Metal.
