A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to the April 27 UFC Fight Night card according to MMA Hoje as #11 Ariane Lipski faces #12 Karine Silva.
Lipski (17-8-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, with those wins coming over JJ Aldrich, Melissa Gatto and Casey O’Neil. Lipski hasn’t been defeated in over a year, with her last loss coming to Priscila Cachoeira at UFC On ESPN 41. Lipski has suffered eight losses as a professional MMA fighter, but she has yet to be beaten by way of submission.
Silva (17-4-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having beaten Poliana Botelho, Ketlen Souza and Maryan Moroz. Silva competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Qihui Yan by second round submission during the 2021 season. Silva has competed 21 times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, April 27 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
