A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC 302 according to the Iridium Sports Agency as Mickey Gall faces Bassil Hafez.
Gall (7-5-0) is competing for the first time in over two years, with his last bout happening at UFC 273 in April of 2022. Gall hasn’t picked up a victory in almost three years, with his last win coming over Jordan Williams at UFC On ESPN 27 in July of 2021. Gall has earned seven wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them have come by way of submission.
Hafez (8-4-1) is winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Jack Della Maddalena at UFC On ESPN 49 in July of 2023. Hafez hasn’t picked up a win in over a year, with his last victory coming at Fury FC 75 in February of 2023. Hafez has spent the majority of his pro MMA career competing in the CFFC promotion, earning a record of 4-2-1 promotion there.
