A lightweight division attraction has been added to the May 18 UFC Fight Night card according to Marcel Dorff as Tom Nolan faces Victor Martinez.
Nolan (6-1-0) is winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a fight to Nikolas Motta at UFC Fight Night 234. Nolan did compete on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Bogdan Grad by first round knockout during the 2023 season. Nolan has earned six wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Martinez (13-5-0) is also winless thus far in his UFC journey, dropping a contest to Jordan Leavitt at UFC Fight Night 220. Martinez also fought on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Jacob Rosales by unanimous decision during the 2021 season. Martinez hasn’t picked up a win in over two years, as the aforementioned victory over Rosales came in September of 2021.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
