REPORT: CHOI SEUNG-WOO OUT, CHEPE MARISCAL IN AT UFC FIGHT NIGHT 242

Choi Seung-Woo is off next month’s UFC Fight Night 242 card according to Alex Behunin, replacing him against Morgan Charriere is Chepe Mariscal.

Charriere (19-9-1) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Manolo Zecchini by first round knockout at UFC Fight Night 226. Charriere hasn’t been beaten in over two years and is currently in the midst of a four fight winning streak. Charriere has earned 19 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 11 of them have come by way of KO/TKO.

Mariscal (15-6-0-1NC) is also undefeated in UFC competition, defeating the duo of Trevor Peek and Jack Jenkins. Mariscal comes into this bout on the strength of a five fight winning streak and he hasn’t been beaten in over  three years. Mariscal has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them have come to current/past UFC and/or Bellator fighters.

UFC Fight Night 242 is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Marvin Vettori and Brendan Allen headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
