A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Saudi Arabia according to The Legend Of MagicM MMA as Nasrat Haqparast faces Jared Gordon.
Haqparast (16-5-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, defeating the trio of John Makdessi, Landon Quinones and Jamie Mullarkey. Haqparast hasn’t been beaten in over two years, with his last loss coming to Bobby Green at UFC 271. Haqparast has competed 21 times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts ended by submission.
Gordon (20-6-0-1NC) has won two of his last five in the UFC, with those wins coming over Leonardo Santos and Mark O. Madsen. Gordon has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and those losses came against UFC/Bellator veterans. Gordon has earned 20 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 11 of them have come by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Saudi Arabia takes place on Saturday, June 22 from a location to be announced in Saudi Arabia and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
