REPORT: JOSH FREMD OUT, DYLAN BUDKA IN ON APRIL 6 UFC CARD

Josh Fremd has been pulled from the April 6 UFC Fight Night card according to MMA Junkie, replacing him against Cesar Almeida is Dylan Budka.

Almeida (4-0-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over seven years. Almeida competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Lucas Fernando by unanimous decision during the 2023 season. Alnmeida has earned four wins as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came by way of KO/TKO.

Budka (7-2-0) is also making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Budka also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Chad Hanekom by decision during the 2023 season. Budka previously challenged for the LFA Middleweight Title, losing to Azamat Bekoev by split decision at LFA 160.

UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Brendan Allen and Chris Curtis headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
