A women’s strawweight division attraction has been added to the June 8 UFC Fight Night card according to Marcel Dorff as Eduarda Moura faces Denise Gomes.
Moura (10-0-0) has already picked up one win under the UFC banner and that came over Montserrat Ruiz at UFC Fight Night 231. Moura competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Janaina Silva by first round submission during the 2023 season. Moura has competed 10 times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
Gomes (8-3-0) has won two of four in the UFC, with those wins coming over the duo of Bruna Brasil and Yazmin Jauregui. Gomes also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Rayanne Amanda Dos Santos by decision during the 2022 season. Gomes has earned eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, June 8 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
