A women’s strawweight division attraction has been added to UFC 301 according to MMA Melotto as Karolina Kowalkiewicz faces Iasmin Lucindo.
Kowalkiewicz (16-7-0) enters the conetst riding a four fight winning streak, defeating Felice Herrig, Silvana Gomez Juarez, Vanessa Demopoulos and Diana Belbita. Kowalkiewicz previously challenged for the UFC Women’s Strawweight Title, losing to then champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 205. Kowalkiewicz hasn’t been beaten in over two years, with her last loss coming to Jessica Penne at UFC 265.
Lucindo (15-5-0) has won two of three in the UFC, with those wins coming over the duo of Brogan Walker and Polyana Viana. Lucindo hasn’t been defeated in over a year, with her last loss coming to Yazmin Jauregui at UFC On ESPN 41. Lucindo has earned 15 wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
