Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Petr Yan scored a unanimous decision win over Song Yadong at UFC 299.
The win didn’t come without any consequences for Yan, who revealed a myriad of injuries on X and the fighter also revealed he will be undergoing surgery tomorrow:
So MRI confirmed acl rupture, meniscus tear and groin injury. Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. Nothing will break me, I’m determined to come back stronger than ever in no time ????????

There is no word at this time as to how long Yan will need for recovery or when he will be back in action.
