Match 1: Davey Bang & August Matthews defeated GPA & Laynie Luck via pinfall

These two teams got the crowd going early with an exciting tag team matchup. Bang & Matthews picked up the win in their TSW debut despite the best efforts of the Second City’s Favorite Couple.

Interview Segment

Before the next match, TSW Heavyweight Champion Tre’ Lamar made his way to the ring and received a less than favorable reception from the crowd. The champion claimed it was a travesty that JDX had been banned from the building, but he reiterated he had full confidence that he would be able to retain the title in the night’s main event.

Match 2: “No Limit” Matt Diesel defeated Ezio Orlandi via pinfall

After falling just short in his championship bid against Lamar in February, Diesel got back on track with a win here against the debuting Orlandi.

After the match, a woman appeared from the crowd and before the confused Diesel knew what was happening, Damian Chambers had arrived from the locker room and was attacking from behind. Chambers introduced the woman as his new valet Kayla Kassidy and said he was tired of all the gifts and opportunities Matt Diesel had been given. Before Diesel could recover, Chambers hit one more devastating move that left the young star laying in the ring.

Match 3: Sam Beale defeated Victor Iniestra via pinfall

Another wrestler making his TSW debut, Iniestra took Beale to the limit in this contest before “The Perminator” finally managed to finish him off for the win.

Match 4: Damian Chambers defeated Storm Grayson via pinfall

These two stars put on a fantastic match, with both men having chances to win. Ultimately, Chambers’s new ringside guest played a role in helping him to a victory.

Match 5: Justin Xavier defeated Tyler Lee Deputy via pinfall

Both of these men came in showing respect, although the Deputy took a couple of opportunities to be the aggressor and try to score a win. “Pac Man” and his aerial work proved to be too much as he picked up another win in singles action.

Match 6: The Hype (Hunter Holdcraft & 12 Gaige) defeated The Dub Club (KJ Reynolds & Ryan Matthias) via pinfall

Each of these teams came in as young, up-and-coming groups but The Hype kept up their winning ways in tag action.

Match 7: Tre’ Lamar defeated Myron Reed and VsK via pinfall to retain the TSW Heavyweight Championship

With this trio of talented performers in the ring, it was no surprise that this one was a barn burner with a host of near falls. Once again, Reed seemingly had the TSW championship within his grasp going for a pin on VsK before two men suddenly appeared and pulled the “Young GOAT” out of the ring. That gave Lamar the opening he needed to finish off VsK for the win and to keep the championship.

After the match, Lamar celebrated with the duo who rushed the ring, seemingly showing he had prepared a backup plan with JDX banned.
