A big welterweight division attraction has been announced for UFC 303 by UFC President Dana White as #7 Ian Machado Garry faces #13 Michael “Venom” Page.
Garry (14-0-0) has already picked up seven wins under the UFC banner, with notable victories coming over Kenan Song, Daniel Rodriguez, Neil Magny and Geoff Neal. Garry is still undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has lasted for over five years. Garry has earned 14 wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Page (22-2-0) is undefeated in the UFC thus far, having defeated Kevin Holland by unanimous decision at UFC 299. Page is a longtime veteran of Bellator MMA, where he has previously challenged for the Bellator Interim Welterweight Title. Page has competed 24 times as a professional MMA fighter and just seven of those bouts went the distance.
UFC 303 takes place on Saturday, June 29 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
