A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Vegas 95 according to Laerte Viana as Karl Williams faces Jhonata Diniz.
Williams (10-1-0) is undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Lukasz Brzeski, Chase Sherman and Justin Tafa. Williams also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, having defeated Jimmy Lawson by unanimous decision. Williams has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Jason Butcher at B2 Fighting Series 142 in December of 2021.
Diniz (7-0-0) has competed just once in the UFC, which was a second round knockout win over Austen Lane at UFC On ESPN 55. Diniz also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Eduardo Neves by first round knockout. Diniz has competed seven times as a professional MMA fighter and none of his bouts have gone the distance.
UFC Vegas 95 takes place on Saturday, August 10 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast details have yet to be released.
