The Invicta FC Bantamweight Title will be defended in the main event of Invicta FC 55 as Talita Bernardo defends the strap against Olga Rubin.
An announcement was made earlier today on Sirius XM.
Bernardo (10-4-0) is making the first defense of her championship, which the fighter won by defeating Teneisha Tennant at Invicta FC 51. Bernardo enters the contest on a four fight winning streak and two of those four wins came by submission. Bernardo also spent some time competing under the UFC banner, which she picked up a record of 1-3-0 in the promotion.
Rubin (9-3-0) has won two of three in Invicta FC, with those wins coming over the duo of Serena DeJesus and Claire Guthrie. Rubin has previously challenged for both the Invicta FC Bantamweight Title, losing to then champion Teneisha Tennant at Invicta FC 48. Rubin is competing for the first time in over a year, with her last fight happening in May of 2023.
Invicta FC 55 is scheduled for Friday, June 28 from the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas with Talita Bernardo and Olga Rubin headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast details have yet to be revealed.
