A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC On ABC 7 according to Vestnik MMA as #13 Alonzo Menifield faces #14 Azamat Murzakanov.
Menifield (15-4-1) has won two of his last four in the UFC, with those wins coming over Jimmy Crute and Dustin Jacoby. Menifield has suffered a total of four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition. Menifield also competed twice before on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating the duo of Daniel Jolly and Dashawn Boatwright.
Murzakanov (13-0-0) has already earned three wins under the UFC banner, with those coming against Dustin Jacoby, Tafon Nchukwi and Devin Clark. Murzakanov also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Matheus Scheffel by first round TKO. Murzakanov has earned 13 wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
