Muhammad Mokaev and Manel Kape will meet in a pivotal flyweight division matchup this Saturday Night on the preliminary card of UFC 304.
However, both fighters and their respective teams got into a physical altercation this past Wednesday in the fighter hotel.
Eric Nicksick, who is part of Kape’s corner on Saturday Night, told MMA Junkie that he believes that Kape was set up. Nicksick told the site that Mokaev’s team asked Kape to pose with Mokaev for a picture for their “Muslim brothers,” which led to Mokaev’s team allegedly attacking Kape and starting the massive brawl.

Mokaev and Kape both posted about the brawl through social media, with both fighters taking shots at the other in the process, which was captured by MMA Fighting.
There is no word at this time as to whether or not the UFC will take action against either fighter or their respective teams for what went down.
