Several fighters will be seeing a bigger paycheck after competing at UFC 304 thanks to King Green, who convinced UFC CEO Dana White to double the fighter bonus money for the event from the usual $50,000 to $100,000.
Green pleaded with White to double the bonuses during the UFC 304 pre-fight press conference.
“Uncle Dana, let’s spice it up a little bit. Can we get $100 Gs for it?” Green said (transcript via Nolan King, Ken Hathaway & Abbey Subhan of MMA Junkie). “Can we get $100? Can we get $100? Let’s spice it up a little bit.”
White agreed, which means whatever fighters pick up Performance Of The Night and Fight Of The Night bonuses, will have to give Green some extra thanks after Saturday Night.
