A middleweight division attraction will headline the October 19 UFC Fight Night card according to MMA Fighting as #13 Michel Pereira faces #14 Anthony Hernandez.
Pereira (31-11-0-2NC) enters the contest riding an eight fight winning streak and he hasn’t been beaten in over four years. Pereira is headlining his first UFC card, despite having been with the promotion for over five years. Pereira has competed at both welterweight and middleweight in the UFC, earning a 9-2-0 record in the promotion.
Hernandez (12-2-0-1NC) enters the bout on the strength of a five fight winning streak, with that streak lasting for over four years. Hernandez is also headlining his first UFC card, despite having been with the promotion for over five years. Hernandez competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, fighting Jordan Wright to a no contest during the 2018 season.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, October 19 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Michel Pereira and Anthony Hernandez headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while no broadcast plans have been revealed at this time.
