●
6 – 14 DECEMBER  - DEWA MMA ARENA,  BANTEN (INDONESIA)

[Amsterdam.20.11.24] GAMMA World Gold medallist Zoe Nowicki scored victory in her second professional bout at Invicta FC 58 on 6 November, ahead of her return to GAMMA at the 2024 World Championships in Indonesia from 6 to 14 December.

It was by Unanimous Decision that the Team USA standout defeated Barbara Grabowska of Poland in the 126 lbs division.

Taking to social media, Nowicki reflected: “Man, I’m really so blessed. And feeling so many emotions right now. …Last night felt like it flew by, it always does. Weeks.. really months and years of work, I poured into last night. Into all these moments. The preparation I’ve had to do to overcome serious mental adversity. There is so much to say about the experience I had inside and outside the cage last night and through today. I’m still processing it myself. I hope to share it with you soon.”

Indeed, the rising star has truly has put in the time as reflected by her impressive string of accolades. In wrestling, these include two-time NCAA and WCWA Women’s National Champion, five-time NCAA/WCWA Women’s Wrestling All-American, and U.S. Open Wrestling All-American. She has represented her nation twice as U23 National Team Member and was a 2021 Olympic Team Trials Qualifier. Undefeated in MMA, her amateur record stands at 10-0-0 and her professional record at 2-0-0.

Nowicki’s last GAMMA outing was at the 2024 Pan American Championships in Argentina, to which she travelled fresh from a successful Invicta FC debut in July to secure gold medals in both the 56.7kg and 61.2kg categories.

No doubt, the World and Pan Am Gold Medallist has been catching her breath before ramping up her preparations for the 2024 GAMMA World Championships in a couple of weeks' time

GAMMA’s senior MMA tournaments are open to both professional and amateur athletes but under amateur rules.
