About the GAMMA 2024 World Championships

The 2024 GAMMA World Championships ran from 8 to 14 December at the Dewa MMA Arena in Banten Indonesia with mixed martial arts tournaments for U18s, followed by the senior competition.

Senior matches were in two disciplines - mixed martial arts (MMA) and 'Striking MMA' - both under amateur rulesets. As a world class competition platform, Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts events are open to both elite level amateur and professional athletes.

Hosted by GAMMA’s representative for Indonesia, PB PERTACAMI , the event was under the auspices of the Indonesian Olympic Committee, in another boost to GAMMA’s vision for international sport recognition, following its participation in the 2023 African Games and the partaking of its members in the last Asian Games.
