Injury Update on Peter Tihanyi – wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship Vacated

A diagnosis has now been made regarding Peter Tihanyi’s shoulder injury. While the exact recovery time can only be determined at a later date, once the treatment method has been decided, it is already clear that Peter’s injury is more severe than initially hoped. We wish Peter a speedy recovery.

As of now, we regret to announce that Peter Tihanyi will be unable to participate in any upcoming events. At wXw Dead End on February 22, Fast Time Moodo will replace him in a match against Cara Noir.

Since we must assume that Peter will be out for an extended period, we unfortunately have no choice but to vacate the wXw Unified World Wrestling Championship. The title will be contested in a singles match between the current #1 contender, Elijah Blum, and the winner of the 2025 16 Carat Gold Tournament. The exact date for this championship match will be set after 16 Carat Gold, allowing for any prior commitments the tournament winner may have.
