On Sunday, March 30th, PROGRESS Wrestling returns to Camden for Chapter 178: Fix Your Hearts. The final card before PROGRESS head to Las Vegas in April and Super Strong Style 16 in May!
No Rope "I Quit" Tag Team Match: Lykos Gym vs. Nico X Mills
The rivalry between these teams has escalated over months, with brawls, interferences, and inconclusive matches leading to this ultimate showdown. With the ropes removed, there’s no escape – only punishment and submission will determine the winners. This is the first-ever No Rope "I Quit" match in PROGRESS history, pushing the boundaries of brutality. The team that emerges victorious will do so in definitive and career-altering fashion.
Trent Seven vs. Cara Noir
This clash represents a generational battle between two of PROGRESS’ most distinguished icons in a first-time-ever dream match. While no personal animosity exists, both men have something to prove. Seven, a PROGRESS original, seeks to reaffirm his dominance after stints in NXT UK and TNA, whilst Cara Noir has Chapter 179 and Super Strong Style 16 looming, so momentum is everything. Expect a hard-hitting, dramatic encounter.
Session Moth Martina vs. Charles Crowley
Recently, Session Moth has taken a darker turn, aligning with Gene Munny and Will Kroos in PROGRESS' first family. This match stems from personal betrayal. Martina and Crowley were once allies, but she turned on him, aligning with Munny’s faction. Since then, she has humiliated and taunted Crowley, making his life miserable for being unable to learn how to use Tajiri's mist. At Chapter 178, Crowley finally gets his chance for revenge.
PROGRESS Proteus Title Match: Simon Miller (c) vs. Gene Munny
Munny attacked Miller at Chapter 177, attempting to humiliate him and desecrate the Proteus title. Miller, known for his positive attitude, has taken this personally and promised to unleash a darker, more aggressive side. With Miller allowing the fans to choose the stipulation, the bout promises to be unpredictable. Munny has long been chasing gold in PROGRESS, and this may be his best chance to finally achieve it. Meanwhile, Miller is fighting not just to retain his title, but to defend his reputation from Munny’s mind games.
Michael Oku vs. Myles Kayman
Oku is set for a major title opportunity at Chapter 179, whilst Myles Kayman is a rising star, an arrogant yet talented competitor eager to prove himself against PROGRESS’ best. This match serves as a tune-up for Oku ahead of his world title challenge against Luke Jacobs in Las Vegas at Chapter 179. Kayman sees it as an opportunity to make a name for himself by scoring a huge upset. With title implications looming, both men are looking to prove their dominance.
Smokin’ Aces (c) vs. Sunshine Machine – PROGRESS Tag Team Title Match
Smokin’ Aces are a dominant, confident duo known for their seamless teamwork, while Sunshine Machine are high-energy fan favourites. With the stipulation that if Sunshine Machine lose, they can never challenge for the titles again, and if Smokin’ Aces lose, they must disband, the stakes couldn’t be higher. These teams have fought before, including a high-profile Ladder Match. Smokin’ Aces have had the upper hand in recent bouts, but Sunshine Machine refuse to back down, espite NEVER winning in PROGRESS against them in 2 on 2 competition.
Nina Samuels vs. Millie McKenzie
Nina Samuels, the reigning PROGRESS Women’s Champion, is refusing to defend her title until Chapter 179, where she will face Rhio in Las Vegas. Millie McKenzie, a suplex machine, is back in PROGRESS after almost two years away and is looking to make a statement. If McKenzie wins, she could stake her claim for a title shot. Samuels, dismissive of challengers, must prove she’s the dominant force in the division.
Tate Mayfairs vs. Eddie Dennis – Last Man Standing Match
Tate Mayfairs is facing his former mentor Eddie Dennis, a veteran known for his cerebral wrestling style and endurance in brutal matches. After what he saw as a bitter betrayal at the previous chapter costing him the PROGRESS Men's World Championship, this Last Man Standing match will settle their personal feud once and for all. The match could mark a turning point in Mayfairs’ career, proving whether he can step out of Dennis’ shadow. Expect a violent, emotionally charged brawl. Mayfairs may have youth on his side, but Dennis’ experience could see him emerge victorious.
The show is on sale now and will also be shown LIVE on Triller TV+ and DEMAND PROGRESS PLUS.
