Empire State Wrestling Presents Brawlfest 2025 on May 16 at Buffalo RiverWorks
Empire State Wrestling (ESW) returns to Buffalo RiverWorks on Friday, May 16 for one of its signature annual events — Brawlfest 2025. This year’s show promises to be a standout, featuring the highly anticipated ESW debut of GCW World Champion Effy, along with a lineup of top-tier independent wrestling talent from across the country and Western New York.
Effy, one of the most in-demand wrestlers on the independent scene, brings his unique flair and championship pedigree to ESW for the first time. A staple of the GCW roster and current World Champion, Effy is also a former GCW Tag Team Champion alongside previous ESW competitor Allie Katch. His international résumé includes appearances in Canada, Japan, the UK, Australia, Germany, and France.
