"Night of Champions 2025 Is a Timely Event," Says Cdt. Emmanuel Ndo
Yaoundé, Cameroon — Commodore Emmanuel Ndo, President of the Cameroon Pro Wrestling Federation (FECACATCH) and First Vice President of Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), has declared the upcoming “Night of Champions 2025” to be both timely and significant for the sport on the continent. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Palais des Sports Mini Stadium in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
“This event is coming at the right time, especially with two major vacant titles on the line,” Ndo stated. “For the first time, French European World Champion Heddi Karaoui will compete in Cameroon, challenging for a vacant World Heavyweight Title. A win here could open doors for him in European, Asian, and American circuits.”
Karaoui’s opponent is Alain Noudem, better known in the ring as The Wolf—a Cameroonian veteran and two-time World Heavyweight Champion with global recognition. “The Wolf is no stranger to high-stakes competition. He’s relentless in the ring and never gives up,” added Ndo.
President Ndo also noted The Wolf's previous accomplishments, highlighting that he won the African Light Heavyweight Championship in Lagos, Nigeria, on October 20, 2020, before relocating to the United States in April 2022, where he captured the World Heavyweight Championship twice.
Due to his new status, The Wolf’s African Light Heavyweight title has been declared vacant. As a result, AIWF Africa, in partnership with Pro Wrestling Africa, has sanctioned a title bout between the top two contenders:
Kirikou, Cameroon’s top-ranked light heavyweight wrestler, and
De Misser, Ghana’s number one in the same division.
“These matches reflect the rising standard and visibility of African professional wrestling,” Ndo concluded. “It’s an exciting time for the sport on our continent.”
