A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC 318 according to Marcel Dorff as Niko Price faces Jacobe Smith.
Price (16-8-0-2NC) has won just two of his last eight under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Alex Oliveira and Alex Morono. Price hasn’t put a winning streak together of any kind in over seven years and his last streak lasted for two fights. Price has suffered eight losses as a professional MMA fighter and five of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Smith (10-0-0) has earned a single win thus far in the UFC and that came over Preston Parsons at UFC Fight Night 249. Smith also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Christien Savoie by second round TKO. Smith is undefeated thus far in his professional MMA career and his undefeated streak has already lasted over four years.
UFC 317 takes place on Saturday, June 28 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Charles Oliveira and Ilia Topuria headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
