A trio of fights have been added to UFC 319, announced by the UFC earlier today, as King Green faces Diego Ferreira, Edson Barboza faces Drakkar Klose and Bryan Battle faces Nursultan Ruziboev.
Green (32-17-1-1NC) has won just one of his last four in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Jim Miller at UFC 300. Ferreira (19-6-0) hasn’t won a fight in over a year, with his last victory coming over Mateusz Rebecki at UFC On ESPN 56 in May of 2024.
Barboza (24-12-0) is competing for the first time in over a year, as his last bout happened at UFC Fight Night 241 in May of 2024. Klose (15-3-1) has won four of his last five, with those wins coming over Brandon Jenkins, Rafa Garcia, Joe Solecki and Joaquim Silva.
Battle (12-2-0-1NC) enters the contest on a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Kevin Jousset and randy Brown. Ruziboev (36-9-2-2NC) also enters the contest on a two fight winning streak, having defeated Eric McConico and Dustin Stoltzfus.
UFC 319 takes place on Saturday, August 16 from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois with Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
