A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Abu Dhabi according to Real Kevin K (via Marcel Dorff) as Muslim Salikhov faces Carlos Leal.

Salikhov (21-5-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Santiago Ponzinibbio and Kenan Song. Salikhov hasn’t been defeated in over a year, with that last loss coming to Randy Brown at UFC Fight Night 235 in February of 2024. Salikhov has earned 21 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 14 of them came by way of KO/TKO.

Leal (22-6-0) has won one of two in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Alex Morono at UFC 313. Leal won five of seven under the PFL banner, with notable wins coming over Ray Cooper III, David Zawada and Dilano Taylor. Leal has been competing in the UFC for nearly a year and this will be his first Fight Night card appearance.

UFC Fight Night Abu Dhabi takes place on Saturday, July 26 from the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi with Robert Whittaker and Reiner De Ridder headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ABC.
