UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones never had a super fight with former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou before Ngannou exited the UFC to join the PFL.
There was a time when it was thought that Ngannou may never step into the Octagon again, but Jones has a different perspective.
"I think Dana gets things done," Jones said on the Full Send Podcast (transcript via Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie). "I think business speaks before emotions. If Francis presents himself in a humble way, I think that he could very easily be back in the UFC."
Ngannou recently appeared at the UFC Fight Night Atlanta weigh-ins in support of former UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman.
Dana White has had his issues with Ngannou as well, but Jones believes that those can be worked out as well.
"Absolutely," Jones said. "Dana White is one of the best sports minds in recent history for a reason, and money talks. Francis brings eyes, and I'm sure Dana will be interested. He can be stubborn. I think I'm an example. People, they grow and mature, and time changes things, and time heals all. There was moments in my career where I felt like Dana absolutely hated me. Now I feel he's a big advocator for me."
