A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC 318 according to Kevin K as Kevin Holland faces Daniel Rodriguez.
Holland (28-13-0, 1NC) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, with those wins coming over Gunnar Nelson and Vicente Luque. Holland is going to be fighting for the fourth time this year, making 2025 his most active year as a professional MMA fighter since 2022. Holland has earned 28 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 14 of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Rodriguez (19-5-0) also enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Alex Morono and Santiago Ponzinibbio. Rodriguez hasn’t been beaten in over a year, with his last loss coming to Kelvin Gastelum at UFC On ABC 6 in June of 2024. Rodriguez has competed 24 times as a professional MMA fighter and nine of those bouts went the distance.
UFC 318 takes place on Saturday, July 19 from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana with Max Holloway and Dustin Poirier headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
