Violence Is Forever Wins In Dominant Fashion at Pro Wrestling Symphony’s Rise Up! Event, Colby Carter vs. Jaden Newman Main Event Confirmed For Hot Fuss On Aug. 3

Pro Wrestling Symphony held its Rise Up! event at Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville, TN on Sunday, July 6. The main event saw Violence Is Forever (Kevin Ku & Dominic Garrini) defeat Royal Prestige (TeVon Jordyn & Majestic). Despite having been away from Music City for several years, VIF proved their still at the top of the tag team wrestling world with a dominant win. Ku picked up the pinfall on Jordyn after he and Garrini delivered their Chasing Violence finisher.

Earlier in the night, “The Code” Colby Carter addressed the fans in attendance and explained how he had to undergo an emergency appendectomy just three days after defeating Donovan Dijak in the main event of Pro Wrestling Symphony’s June 1st debut show. He was interrupted by Jaden Newman, who initially claimed to respect Carter. But Newman gradually turned on Carter, calling him a fraud and claiming his surgery was a hoax before brutally attacking where his appendix used to be. Carter vs. Newman was later confirmed to be the main event for PWS’ next event, Hot Fuss, on Aug. 3 at the Brooklyn Bowl.

The show also saw the arrival of “American Gladiators” cast member J-Rod. “The Ultimate Athlete” was originally booked to compete on June 1st, only to be attacked by a mystery assailant while training. That turned out to be none other than Nixi XS. After Nixi won the five-way Symphony Scramble, she was confronted by J-Rod - who tossed her back into the ring to receive a beatdown from Brittnie Brooks and Alexis Littlefoot.
