The March 7 UFC 326 card has taken a big hit because Brian Ortega has announced on Instagram Stories that he is off the card and won’t be fighting Renato Moicano.
MMA Junkie has provided a transcript of what Ortega said in his Instagram Stories video:
"I'm OK, health is good, no surgeries or nothing crazy like that, but I do need to take a little bit of some time off to nurse these injuries that I have right now," Ortega said in the video. "It just sucks, where it's not crazy like that where I need to have surgery, but I have to rest it and let it heal and chill, and get some physical therapy."
There is no word at this time as to who will be replacing Ortega against Moicano at UFC 326.
UFC 326 takes place on Saturday, March 7 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Paramount+.
