A lightweight division attraction will headline the April 4 UFC Fight Night card as #10 Renato Moicano faces Chris Duncan.
The main event fight was announced during the UFC Houston broadcast.
Moicano (20-7-1) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Islam Makhachev and Beneil Dariush. Moicano has previously challenged for the UFC Lightweight Championship, losing to the aforementioned Makhachev at UFC 311. Moicano hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with his last win coming over Benoit Saint Denis at UFC Fight Night 243 in September of 2024.
Duncan (15-2-0) is going to be headlining his first UFC card and he does so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Duncan has won six of seven in the UFC, with notable wins coming over Omar Morales, Mateusz Rebecki, and Terrance McKinney. Duncan competed twice on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Charlie Campbell and suffering a defeat to Viacheslav Borschev.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, April 4 from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Renato Moicano and Chris Duncan headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Paramount+.
