A bantamweight division attraction has been added to the March 14 UFC Fight Night card according to the Iridium Sports Agency as Hecher Sosa faces Luan Lacerda.
Sosa (13-1-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a 10 fight winning streak. Sosa competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Macksom Lee by unanimous decision. Sosa has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Karlen Minasian at Fight Club Rush 12 in May of 2022.
Lacerda (13-3-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Saimon Oliveira at UFC Fight Night 261. Lacerda went undefeated during a brief run in the LFA, defeating Tayron Pedro and Marcirley Alves. Lacerda has competed 16 times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts ended by KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Josh Emmett and Kevin Vallejos headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Paramount+.
