A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 328 according to Leo Guimaraes as #2 Alexander Volkov faces #5 Waldo Cortes-Acosta.
Volkov (39-11-0) has won five of his last six in the UFC, with those wins coming over Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Alexander Romanov, Tai Tuivasa, Sergei Pavlovich, and Jailton Almeida. Volkov only fought once in 2025, making it his leats active year as a professional MMA fighter since 2019. Volkov has earned 39 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 24 of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Cortes-Acosta (17-2-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, picking up wins over Ante Delija, Shamil Gaziev, and Derrick Lewis. Cortes-Acosta has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both came during UFC competition. Cortes-Acosta has earned 17 wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of them came by way of KO/TKO.
