A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to the April 25 UFC Fight Night card according to AG Fight as #3 Norma Dumont faces #11 Joselyne Edwards.
Dumont (13-2-0) enters the contest riding a six fight winning streak, picking up wins over Danyelle Wolf, Karol Rosa, Chelsea Chandler, Germaine De Randamie, Irene Aldana, and Ketlen Vieira. Dumont has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both came during UFC competition. Dumont has seen her last 10 MMA bouts go the distance and it has been over eight years since the fighter got a finish.
Edwards (17-6-0) comes into the bout on a four fight winning streak, defeating Tamires Vidal, Chelsea Chandler, Priscila Cachoeira, and Nora Cornolle. Edwards hasn’t been neaten in nearly two years, with her last loss coming to Ailin Perez at UFC 302. Edwards has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and five came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Sean Brady and Joaquin Buckley headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Paramount+.
