ECW BECOMING SMACKDOWN JUNIOR? - FIRST BATCH OF READER FEEDBACK TO ECW

Well it has finally happened, ECW has gone from a great show to a good show. It reminds me a lot of the old WWF Superstars show on Saturdays during the 1990's on the local networks. The new stage looks like crap. I liked the old school ECW brick house as oppose to this boxy, 5 cube that looks too much like Broadway or Las Vegas for ECW. Another thing I hated was the new ropes. They looked like ropes you would see on an extremely cheap indy promotion that runs in a American Legion hall or a backyard wrestling promotion.

The action was ok. Daivari was the only man who really got to shine. Everyone else in Sabu, RVD, Kevin Thorn and Big Show got their usual shots in. Other than that the action was a typical ECW checklist minus the CM Punk tap-out in the Anaconda Vice.

Outside of the ring, The Sandman interview where he caned the clown was cool. I wish they had more of the squashes that Sandman did at the beginning of ECW with The Zombie, Macho Libre, Big Dick Johnson and Tony Devito. The vixens, I mean diva segment was a typical WWE diva hot body contest with the only difference being that Trinity wore extremely little leaving all but her naughty bits to the imagination. I did like the continuation of the Knox-Punk feud. Hopefully Knox can get something out of this

Overall I am not a fan of the new look to the show, but ECW is still my favorite WWE program. It isn't my favorite wrestling program, that is TNA.

Hey Yo.... Survey says....it was a great show compared to Raw..

Paul Heyman is golden on the stick, one of the best in the WWE right now..I'm looking forward to the extreme elimination chamber match..

Kevin Thorn vs Sabu had the right winner, but the match was short.. Ariel as always looked smookin'

Daivari w/Khali vs Shannon Moore was really short, but I like Khali as Daivari's bodyguard...And Daivari's finishing move looked cool

Diva Halloween show had the right winner; Trinity has a nice body, but if Ariel had stripped I'd mark out ! Kelly stalking Cm Punk? What happened to Punk's girlfriend?

RVD/Holly vs Show/Test; This was long and boring at times..I got to read my newspaper during the match, so I didn't get my full attention....

Overall If I have to put a score on this, I give it a 6 out of 10 due to Ariel being in 2 segments and Trinity.

According to WWE, people didn't get ECW was apart of the WWE family. Last night proved was it and boy it is just horrible.

The Elimination Chamber, that was a RAW idea. Why is it here?????

Khali is pure wresltecrap. Daivari is just so unlucky with the talent he is forced to manage.

A Costume contest? I enjoy seeing Trinity & Ariel but this has been done this death. Please no more contests.

Punk is the only good thing on this show and he was in a confrontation.

Heyman screwing RVD in gorilla suit. My god, I feel so dumb watching this crap.

My final Score

3/10 - Trinity Ariel & Punk got them the 3 points the rest was crap.

Great, the "bastardization" of ECW has come into full swing. While it was a decent show with the furthering of storylines and some good wrestling we now have a new and improved ultra-bright entrance, ECW Divas, more "The Marine" recaps than anyone cares about and best of all The Great Khali and Daivari. ECW is quickly becoming Smackdown Jr. Thanks WWE!
